2024 WTW & HARRT at UCLA Day of Learning
Future Forward: What’s Next for HR
Labor market pressure is down but talent shortages remain for key roles. Health care costs are on the rise again. Certain tech companies face layoffs and uncertainty as AI’s impact grows. Inflation lingers as employees demand higher pay to keep up. Some sectors thrive; others struggle. It’s an election year. Burn-out is real.
The pressure on human resources to support and enable employees while also containing costs and driving performance has never been greater.
HR leaders are worried about how employees will cope – and be productive – in this environment, but have you considered how your HR team is doing and what’s next? How are they coping? What’s keeping them up at night? Are they able to be productive? Where is your HR team heading?
In this environment, HR professionals are often seen as organizational “first responders,” setting aside their own feelings and concerns in order to support the people they represent. But many have reached their limits and need more support from their organization. How can HR teams thrive in 2024 and beyond?
Join HARRT at UCLA and WTW for our in-person, on-campus Day of Learning on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to learn about what’s next for the people who work in HR. During this session, you will:
1. Gain insights from leading employers and professors with a focus on you – the HR leader – and how you can energize your “future self”
2. Have an open discussion with experts on how to address wellbeing concerns for the HR team
3. Hear strategies employers are incorporating to deal with some of today’s most pressing people challenges while planning for the future
4. Network with executive peers across industry sectors from leading local and global organizations
Please register by April 19.
